Effective Date: September 19, 2026
1. Agreement and Acceptance
Welcome to Leap Homeopathy. These Terms and Conditions govern your access to consultations, courses, digital products, and services offered by Leap Homeopathy (Leah Bugg, LHP, CHP), based in Carlsbad, California. In these Terms, we, us, our, and I mean Leap Homeopathy. You and your mean the client accessing services.
By booking a consultation, making a payment, or engaging in services, you agree to these Terms. These are here to ensure mutual respect, clarity, and safety in our work together. If you do not agree, do not book or continue services with Leap Homeopathy.
2. Scope of Services
Leap Homeopathy provides classical homeopathy and holistic care. Services are educational, supportive, and not a replacement for medical diagnosis or treatment. I do not offer emergency care or give medical advice related to prescriptions or diagnostics. Always consult your physician for urgent or medical concerns.
The FDA has not evaluated homeopathic remedies for safety or effectiveness. Nothing in a consultation, session, or educational material is intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
3. Practitioner Role and Medical Care
I am one part of your care team. I will never ask you to stop prescribed medications. If I observe signs of a higher risk condition, I may refer you to your primary provider. I reserve the right to withhold or withdraw care if I believe a situation requires immediate medical attention beyond homeopathic scope.
4. Informed Consent and Assumption of Risk
By booking a consultation, you confirm that you understand homeopathy as a complementary approach, that it works alongside rather than in place of conventional medical care, and that outcomes vary from person to person and are never guaranteed.
You are choosing to work with a classical homeopath with this understanding, and you remain free to stop treatment, ask questions about any recommendation, or seek a second opinion at any time.
You accept the risks that come with any healthcare decision, including the possibility that a remedy does not produce the result you hoped for.
5. Appointments
Initial appointments last about 2 hours. Please ensure a quiet, private space, minimize distractions, and have food and water available.
Follow-ups are typically 30 to 45 minutes, spaced 4 to 8 weeks apart depending on progress. It is your responsibility to schedule follow-ups if we have not done so together.
Appointment links are sent in advance by email. If you arrive late, we will still finish on time for the benefit of other clients who may follow your appointment.
If your calendar shows no availability, email me directly at [email protected].
6. Payment and Cancellations
Payment is due at the time of booking or within 30 days of receiving an invoice. A late fee of 5 percent may apply to invoices left unpaid after 7 days.
Appointments must be canceled or rescheduled at least 24 hours in advance. Late cancellations carry a fee of 50 dollars for intakes and 25 dollars for follow-ups. Missed appointments are non-refundable.
7. Refunds and Packages
All consultations and digital products are non-refundable. Prepaid packages are non-refundable but may be transferred with written consent. Refunds are not issued once services have been rendered or digital access has been granted.
8. Between-Session Communication
I respond to short, non urgent emails within 12 to 24 hours.
Please be consistent in your method of communication with me, especially for remedy reactions or case updates. This helps keep accurate documentation.
Save non urgent questions for follow-ups. I am not able to be available at all times to provide continuous real time support between sessions. I will do my best to respond to you promptly.
9. Recommendations and Response Time
You will receive your homeopathic plan within 2 to 8 days after an initial session, depending on the complexity of your case.
After starting your remedy, please send a check-in email 7 to 10 days later.
If new or worsening symptoms arise, please stop your remedy and email me.
Keep a journal or notes to track your progress between sessions.
10. Acute and Symptom Management
While under chronic care, please avoid self-prescribing at first, while we establish how you respond to initial recommendations.
For true acutes, please book an Acute Session. I aim to respond within 4 to 6 hours, though timing may vary.
Daily updates are expected during acute care. If your acute lasts beyond a week, additional care fees may apply.
11. Communication Tools
Video calls are held over Zoom, WhatsApp, or similar platforms.
I may use text messages for simple logistics like reminders and confirmations, but case management and symptom tracking is best kept over email for consistent documentation.
The platforms I use take reasonable security measures, but no digital system is completely risk free. By using them, you accept that risk.
12. Confidentiality, Records, and Health Information
All client information is stored securely in our client management system, FEA Create, and in password protected note taking files. Your information is never shared without your written consent, unless the law requires it.
I retain client records for 7 years after your last appointment, or until age 25 for minors.
Our Privacy Policy explains in full what we collect, how we use it, and the rights you have over it. The Privacy Policy is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
13. Minors and Guardian Consent
A client under 18 may only receive services with the consent of a parent or legal guardian. The parent or guardian is treated as the client of record for scheduling, payment, and communication about care, and must be present for or reachable during a minor's session.
Case notes and records for a minor client are kept in the same way as for any client, described in section 12, with the retention period noted there.
14. Referrals and Supervision
I stay within my scope and continually seek professional supervision. If your case falls outside my experience or progress stalls, I may consult with colleagues with your consent, refer you to another practitioner, or adjust timelines for care plan delivery if deeper analysis is required.
15. Office Hours
My hours vary based on client demand and family life. If my online calendar does not suit your time zone, email me and I will do my best to accommodate.
16. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
Leap Homeopathy is not liable for decisions or outcomes resulting from your use of any recommendations provided. You are responsible for making informed choices and consulting licensed providers when needed.
Services are provided as is, based on the information you share with me. I make reasonable efforts to give sound guidance, but I do not guarantee a specific health outcome.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under California law, including liability for gross negligence or willful misconduct.
17. Email List and Communication
When you become a client, your email may be added to my newsletter. You may receive occasional messages about homeopathy, services, or resources. You can unsubscribe at any time. See our Privacy Policy for detail.
18. Governing Law, Jurisdiction, and Waiver
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute arising from these Terms, a consultation, or a purchase, will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in San Diego County, California, including small claims court where the claim qualifies.
Neither party gives up a right under these Terms by delaying or failing to enforce it once. This waiver applies to both you and us equally.
19. Changes to These Terms, Notices, and Entire Agreement
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we will let you know by email or through the website. Continuing to use Leap Homeopathy services after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
Notices to you will be sent to the email on your account or booking, and are considered received 2 days after we send them.
If a court finds part of these Terms unenforceable, that part will be narrowed to the minimum extent needed, and the rest of the Terms stays in effect.
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and Leap Homeopathy about your services. They replace any earlier agreement or understanding on the same subject.
20. OligoScan and In-Person Services
An OligoScan is available as an in-person add-on to select consultations. It is a scan of mineral and trace element levels, using a non-invasive Spectophotometry device, used as one piece of information alongside your case history and intake, or a stand-alone service. It is a wellness screening tool, not a diagnostic medical device, and it does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
In-person appointments take place at various locations determined at booking. You are responsible for your own safety and conduct while on site, and you agree to tell me about any condition that may affect whether a scan is appropriate for you. A blood type test is required to perform the scan. Leap Homeopathy does not perform this test and is not responsible for how it is administered, but can provide you with a testing kit.
Scan results become part of your client record and are handled under section 12 of these Terms.
The OligoScan add-on is non-refundable once performed, in line with section 7.
21. Affiliate Disclosure
Leap Homeopathy may recommend products from partners such as Beam Minerals and Bee Healthy Homeopathic, and may earn dispensing revenue through my Fullscript account. Some of these are affiliate or referral relationships, meaning I may earn a commission if you make a purchase through a link or code I provide. This does not change the price you pay. I only recommend products I believe are a good fit for your care.
Where required, I disclose a specific affiliate relationship directly on the post, page, or email where the link appears, in addition to this general disclosure.
22. Final Agreement and Contact
By booking a session, making payment, or continuing care, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
